Fun Favor Ideas!

wedding invitations houston texas,wedding planning

Every bride gets stuck on what favor to hand out to guests. But no need for that, here are some great ideas for any wedding, at any time of the year!

Spring weddings are a great time to hand out flower seeds for your guests’ gardens. These flowers will bloom for years to come and remind your guests of your beautiful day. Choosing a flower that is easy to grow and that will come back year after year on its own, is the way to go here!

Have a sweet tooth but don’t really want to give into having a full candy bar at your wedding? Try these cute miniature boxes filled with your favorite candy. A great candy that everyone will love: customized M&M’s with your names and favorite colors!  Or try colorful Jelly Beans as pictured above!

Christmas tree ornaments, according to some, can be given all year round. Many brides choose to only hand these great mementos out during the holidays, but why not have an ornament for a favor any time of the year? Many people have ornaments on their tree from special occasions during the year including family vacations, high school graduations, and new pets. Your guests will be happy to display these on their tree for years to come!

Having a beach wedding? Fill small bottles with sand from your ceremony site and tie a tag on it with your names, date, and the location, with a coordinating ribbon to match your wedding colors.

Vintners Own Winery...a great wedding favor idea!

Vintners Own is a custom crush facility located in the Heights area of Houston. A customized barrel of wine, made specifically to your individual preferences, is a perfect way to celebrate your romance! The personalized label is ideal for wedding favors, bridal gifts, or just something to always remember your special day.

invitationsolutions.com,vinterns own winery,winery,Wedding reception

The barrel makes approximately 25 cases of wine, equaling about 300 bottles. Everything about the barrel is personalized to individual taste and preference: the wine itself, the label, the cork, the bottle, and the foil. They have 4 varietals available this year, all from Napa and Sonoma. They are Merlot, Syrah, Rose, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Next year they plan to expand their selection to include white wine as well. After purchasing a bottle, the winery is open to our clients for barrel tastings, bottling parties, wine education, and exclusive member socials.

The venue is also great for a rehearsal dinner or reception in the intimate barrel room!

Visit their website at www.vintnersown.com or contact Samantha Lewis at samantha@vintnersown.com for additional information or questions.
