Save the Date Magnets

Often times when you are selecting your save the dates you don't have all the details of your wedding finalized so your save the dates do not have to represent the wedding at all they can represent you as a couple. So make it special and make it fun! This is the time to show your personalities. You can use bold colors to make it really pop, or maybe add a little romance by using softer colors and a bow. It's all up to you.

Magnets are a great idea because your friends and family can put them on the fridge as a daily reminder of your upcoming nuptials. I have even heard that some save the date magnets have been helpful in helping some guests lose those extra pounds following the holiday seasons (gotta look good for pictures)!

At Invitation Solutions we can help you customize the perfect magnet. Maybe someone snapped a picture as he knelt on one knee and asked you to be his wife, or was the question written on the Galveston sands and it was just too beautiful to leave without getting a picture. You should share that moment with all your loved ones and put it on a magnet that they can keep even after the wedding has passed. Think of it as a mini picture frame!

Maybe you are a little camera shy but still like the idea of a magnet. We can make a mini calendar of the month and circle the wedding date. We are working on a save the date right now and this destination bride has decided to put a starfish over the date. The possibilities are endless.

Bring us a picture and we can help with all the details. Just give us a call, we'll set up a consultation and you'll be on your way to a beautiful save the date.

Maybe you're looking for something a bit more simple. There are other options. I'll give you some examples of a save the date postcard in the next post so check back with us!

Save the Date

Wedding invitations should be mailed at least 6-8 weeks before the wedding. Now, if you are super duper excited to get the word out about your wedding date you can always do a save the date. The save the dates can be sent out at 4-6 months before the wedding and can be done in many ways.

The date of the wedding is obviously the most important piece of information that should be on the save the date. If you are expecting a lot of out of town guests and have reserved a block of rooms at a specific hotel, that information should also be listed. A lot of couples have wedding websites and we all (hopefully) know it’s in poor taste to put that information on the invitation, but on a save the date it’s the perfect place to share the information! So many details of the wedding can be shared on a save the date.

Call us for a free consultation and we will go over all your options and make it just right for you!

Over the next couple of days I’ll be sharing some different ways you can go about creating a save the date in popular and unique ways. So check back with us soon!
